Yay! Glad to see that the Red Bag arrived at Old Orchard Beach! I thought about sending it to the south of France, but RB said it really, really wanted to see Nacy first...it is a sturdy Red Bag and can do many transAtlantic and/or transPacific triips!
'Gotta love Alicia's red last...and first :-)
Highly nutritional, keep refrigerated! :-)
We take RB to the free noonday classical-piano concert in Portland today. RB will experience free high-brow culture. Dressing up in Erni's shoes is as far as I'll go in the fancy department. Well, maybe good socks. RB better say thank you after such an effort. What a good memory, Vizma--those shoes were my profile pic for a few months, yes.
Beautiful last, Alicia!!
Yeah, lucky Red Bag!! Nancy is even FEEDING it! And it talks??? Travel really does widen horizons, it's a good thing that Red Bag is getting to experience other cultures and lifestyles. I hope it has been saying please and thankyou.
RB loves dressing up, Nancy, so I appreciate that you'll be having a dress-up day with her!!
ps. I arrived here on Nov 18- those shoes were your profile pic for a while, yes?
Red sole mate arrived at Waitpinga!!! What a great mail art Alicia!! I'm excited!!
Wasn't quite sure what this was, in a baby spinach container!! Organic, no less! It was a bit crushed on one side, but no harm done to the darling shoe last!!
What a truly gorgeous thing Alicia!
How did you manage to get the stampings on so evenly? I have trouble getting a good print on a flat piece of paper!! ( well, not that flat, as usually there's a pile of stuff under the thing I'm stamping!)
And I appreciate the V on the back of the artwork! Mine all mine!!! Love it Alicia, thankyou SO much!!
Wow, Nancy is really looking after the Red Bag.
Tomorrow I'm going to see the local Witch Doctorand ask him/her/it to cast a a spell on me so that I will be transformed into a lil Red Bag and transposterted somewhere wonderful where one of you will really look after me.

There is another red bag in the postal cosmos?
ahh, it made it! goodie. there are others out there in the postal cosmos, but only one more red one = sole mate.
Red Bag is here!!! With miniature surprisingly functional flip-flop(s) and nice card--thanks, Katerina! What a surprise when I opened the mailbox and there it was, just like this:
I found the box and other items hidden in a chipmunk hole--my mailman must really be getting into mail art.
The bag is talking, and immediately wanted to meet our cats. Cookie is too shy, but Ramsay took a shine to the red bag immediately:
Ramsay wants to know when the hell I'm going to start dressing up for a change and hopes the red bag will have a good influence. Of course, I AM planning a dress-up day with the bag tomorrow, along with these mail art shoes:
(For anyone newer than November 16/2012, on that day Erni Bar's old shoes arrived here via postal service--an especially exciting mail art day.)
The bag wanted its picture taken with a seashell to prove it is visiting Old Orchard Beach, even though this shell was not found on this beach (bag didn't care):
It got hungry and, upon being shown the kitchenette, made a beeline for the bananas, which I hope will make Dean very happy:
Thanks Vizma and Katerina, so far the red bag and I are having a blast.
The red shoe is fab. Nice going Alicia.
RED BAG is back!! How bizarre!! Great work, Katerina- I'm looking forward to seeing where people will take her and what shoes they choose to wear on their outings!!! Greeeeeat Shoe Alicia!!!
