Comment by Linda French on April 24, 2015 at 11:00pm: I googled 'modular stew' and found some interesting things. It looks like the 'modular' part is that the various ingredients can be substituted out, depending on what's available. Which in your case will probably include sriracha sauce.

Comment by Ficus strangulensis on April 24, 2015 at 6:29pm: I remember corresponding with a mailartist many years ago who sent a recipe for "modular stew" which was pretty much vegetarian but also included pears or apples or peaches. I tried it and it was pretty good.
