WOW! From Keith Chambers, Anaheim, CA. Two digitally altered postcards in the "Last Day of Issue" series. Poem on reverse. Accompanied by artists' stamps of the same image. These postcards are a clever and sly subversion of the original Renaissance portraits. The male head is from a portrait of Sigismodo Malatesta (1420-1450) by Piero della Francesca and is attached to an unidentified torso. The female portrait is of unknown woman by Fra Filippo Lippi. The background in both portraits has been altered significantly. The fish caps have been added, of course and relate to the poems on the reverse of the cards. The envelope is features custom made fish designs.
