New Years Map Doodles Independence Bird mailed 1 4 16

This is the first piece of art I made in 2016, on New Year's Day. It's totally inspired by Stripygoose, whose art I adore. The snail, plane, boat, bird in nest and house are manufactured rubber stamp images augmented with colored pencils. Big bird running is an original drawing in inks. Made on a map of a portion of Independence, MN, USA.
