Litsa Spathi posted a comment here at the IUOMA saying to stop promoting the old Fluxus people. I make no claim to being Fluxus. But I take that VERY seriously. And it's true - what has George Macinuas done for any of us lately?

SH - you posted it IUOMA. What I do like about Fluxus is that supposedly we'll eventually be able to stop intellectualizing and theorizing. Lordy, lordy bring that new day! BTW, this piece lacks cohesion. And I think it needs more ambiguity.

Bingo - the Luxus part is an image by Litsa Spath. I recognized it. A few months back on some of the Fluxus blogs - like Fluxlist Europe - she posted a message saying Fluxus is dead and it is now Luxus. Mudhead's "New Fluxus Manifesto" also mentions Luxus - can't say I know what it's about, but hey, it's pretty cool

i was merely fulfilling val's wishes for what makes a good postcard:

Bonsoir! Thanks for your cards, in one of which you pose the existential question: '(After) sex, war and American football, what more could you ask for in a postcard?'

I have raised this with my circle (which, of course, is not round) of left-bank philosophers and would like to suggest that ithe following be ncluded in any furher postcards originating from your studios: English football (preferably Darlington FC), escargots, the Eiffel Tower, Wayne Fontana, M Martin, and frog's legs -- preferably uncooked and still attached to their parent frogs.

but yes, i think there was something about it following fluxus.

progression as you say.

the point will be moot once we discover the key to consciousness.

then everything will become meaningless and meaningful simultaneously.
