The reverse of the postcard, a collage of old newspapers. Superb! Note the illustration in the lower right hand corner describing an incident in which a little girl saved her siblings from a fire. It is a strong and beautiful image, possible an engraving.
Plus an interesting collage in the shape of a totem featuring fish in bowls, dragon flies and a hat. I love hats and this one is super.
This posting is a great combination of the serious and the light-hearted.
