I am sure you have a cousin of our nature spirit, Carina, all the northern countries do. I think also in the Mediterranean regions they have Pan and fauns and nymphs and that one with the legs of a goat always drinking, forgot his name and of course Bacchus and his wine.

The other day in our weather map I saw snow going your way, but may be it dissipated over the sea; here has been snowing in Scotland and now there is a terrible flood up north. We in the south are luckier; so far we never had floods, probably because there are barriers in the Thames.

It has been grey every day including today here but on Friday we had brilliant sunshine, so unusual. It was the day I got my borrowed dog and we both enjoyed a sunny walk for a change.

I enjoyed your story of Father Mailart, and the "Wassail" print very much, Martha. We need more nature spirits like Wassail... as our weather is not better than yours over in England, no snow, only rain.

I try Carina, difficult to do such good work as you do!

Thank you for posting, Martha! And thank you for the gorgeous package that arrived in Petsmo today!

The weather is really is grim here, the sun shows itself only when it trips and falls between two clouds and soon it picks itself up and hides again, but thanks to all the super art that keeps dropping down in my letterbox I am managing to keep smiling!
