Human Rights

A football field, a logo, a hat, a pair of yellow football boots and the football, all the icons are easy to recognize because they are all important parts of the football world. By adding the text: “Human Rights” at the icons the understanding of football is suddenly disturbed and the view of sport as a non-politic event is challenged. Artstamp is pointing out that sport and politic are related although we understand them as opposites. The stamps are in this case a provocative and humorous reminder that things are not always what it looks like. It’s especially now during the European Championships in Ukraine the question about sport and politic is relevant. The question underlines whether sport is an isolated field or an integrated part of our society. If it’s a part of our society we have to accept that the game must go on..
