Yes, a lot of layers indeed, it was really fun to make. An imprint, hmm, I haven't thought about this. Good idea. I think it's good enough for an imprint, and it would probably make it look better. I have to come up with something, yes.

That's good news. When you have a series like this, I think there should be a way to keep it together when it's done. I gather you're using screens with photoshop. That's in line with so many of the IUOMA vispoets who use "layering" - it's a way to meld text & image. It probably goes back to over-striking in concrete poetry. Well, I hope i get the book when it's ready! Does Minxus have an imprint - like Minxus Editions or something?

Thanks DVS, I'm glad you like this one and the series. Right now I'm sending them out individually. The good thing with photos is they can be printed out indefinitely. I'll also group them as a series and send out a few mini boekies, yes!

To me, this is top-notch vispo. No nagging doubts about whether it's collage or too far the other way toward text. The only reason you might think of it as Dw-esque is because Dw is so heavily based all the visual poets such as Leftwich, Chirot, Spathi, etc etc

 

I hope you think about putting the series together in boekie or something.
