52/squirrel story
The squirrel was lying in the road not moving and other cars were driving past. I stopped - what's the kindest thing to do? There was blood on the squirrel, eyes shut... what IS the kindest thing to do? A few minutes past... it opened its eyes - next thing I know it had leapt up and scampered into someone's garden, limping a bit, but looking as if it would live to see another day. Happy ending.
