30 year old mail art

I dumped a few boxes of mail art from the early 1980's on to the floor in my living room.

Comment by James Hill on August 24, 2013 at 1:04am: Zine/flyer/photocopy based is correct except from some of the more personal art sent to me by Gurdrun Albasser, Henning Mittendorf, Berry Edgar Pilcher, Lucien Suel and Perter Noth AKA Nort BC to name a few. I just spent the afternoon rummaging through everything. I was so overwhelmed I put everything back in the boxes. I did pick out a few plums though. It's been over 25 years since I peeked inside those boxes. When the Internet caught on I thought that was going to be the end to Mail Art. But it looks like I was wrong. I still have my collection of rubber stamps and am eager to re-join the mail art community.
