This is a friendly welcome to The Eternal Network from a friendly mail artist living in a friendly country. What seems to be a perfect start here is mail-art exchange. I would like to be the other side on this very beginning with you at IUOMA when you decide is the right time for you to do it. If that’s the case your envelope should read as follows:

    Brazil
II look forward to see your piece on my mailbox. Yes!, I will do my homework after receiving yours. That’s a celestial promise. I´m Patricio, The Celestial Scribe.

Hi Jennifer.  We went thru a 28 days strike of the brazilian post that ended about 20 days ago.  At the time, there were 180 millions of postal pieces expecting delivey.  I began to receive my mail 5 days ago.  Your piece posted oct 08, was received just today.  Pay attention to the sky.  At some point in time a hummingbird will be flying over Madison

Got your work in the mail today, thanks so much. I will send something out as soon as I make another batch. I keep getting further and further behind from all of the Christmas activities.

  • jon foster

No, it's not really found stuff. Basically I go looking for the magazines at thrift stores and around work. Sometimes I will pick up things and add it to the mix, but not every single time. I like older magazines and books, mostly.

  • jon foster

I'm sorry but I wrote too quickly. What I sent to you was culled from things I found in the trash at my school. I tried to fit the stranger statements in together.

A tsuru-in-the box arrived today to my mailbox.  To my entire suprise the tsuru was still there, sleeping like a baby bird after a very long trip, tired of the worlwide postal service.  Very good artwork.  It suprised me and those who were introduced to the creative product of your oriental inspiration.  The ball is on my court now.  I´ll do my homework and keep you posted.  Thank you my mail friend!

Question: How private (or not) should i consider the pages of the IUOMA website? Someone wrote a blog post about mail i sent him. I wanted to post the link on FB but thought maybe i should not as his mailing address is visible in the first photo.

    Any thoughts?
