It's a great bunch of folks and I hope that you enjoy exchanging Mail Art with us. I'm your Mentor, and if I can help to ease you into IUOMA in any way, then please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to explain what's going on and how IUOMA works.

If you haven't already done so, I suggest you take a look at the 'New to IOUMA' page (4th from the left at the top of the IUOMA home page) where you'll find a 10-point Introductory Guide that should give you an insight as to what is going on.

Would you like to exchange some Mail Art with me? If so, send me something to me: 2422 Floyd Ave, Richmond, VA 23220, USA,  and I PROMISE to send you something back.

BUT if you want me, or anyone else in IUOMA, to send you any snail mail Mail Art back, you're going to have to provide us with your postal address. If people have to ask you for it, then it gets to be a bit of an unecessary hassle for one and all.

  Mr. Zavarof, I'm glad to know there is at least ONE inhabitant of this supposed uninhabited island of Bouvet! I can't wait to get mail from there. The postage stamps must be very interesting.

   Hola como estan ? . Les envío la convocatoria de Miradas y Postales para presentarse en el IV Encuentro de Artistas por la No violencia hacia las Mujeres en noviembre de este año en la ciudad de Bahía Blanca-Argentina  ,por si estan interesad@s , este proyecto en particular  va a trabajar el tema de la trata de mujeres ,concientizar a traves del Arte , el envío es solo por correo postal ,este proyecto se va a mostrar en varios países sea por medio de proyecciones de videos,diapositivas, como por envío postal para muestras en galerías,museos espacios públicos y/o salones  ,la idea es crear una red de información a través del arte .
El proyecto anterior de Miradas y Postales -Por la No violencia hacia las Mujeres -recibío una convocatoria de 152 personas de 25 países y un total de 256 postales artísticas.

Earthling, this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on 16 July I was unable to welcome you on board.  At the time I was in a celestial journey far beyond the Milky Way. Petite leçon de Poésie pure : L'arrivée de la Valise Zavarof N°14, dite la "MARVÓNICA", expédiée en 3 colis numérotés 1/1, 1/2 et 1/3 à Jean-François Aillet par le Poète portugais ► Manuel Vaz s'est effectuée dans ma boîte aux lettres à intervalles échelonnés durant trois jours. J'ai dû m'y reprendre à deux fois avant de réaliser et de bien comprendre ce que je recevais là. Car ce n'est pas tous les jours que l'on reçoit un truc pareil !

UN ARRIVAGE totalement inattendu...

Il y a des jours, en écoutant la radio, l'on entend qu'une une femme de 22 ans qui ne s’est pas remise du récent suicide de son mari s’est pendue chez elle après avoir tué ses trois filles en bas âge, des jours comme cela où la vie ne semble plus avoir de sens...

Et puis il y a ces jours où l'on reçoit des choses comme cela dans sa boîte aux lettres.
C'est à moi que c'est adressé alors j'ouvre et je découvre...

Il y a des jours où ce que l'on découvre ne peut pas être gardé uniquement que pour soi. Alors le mieux, s'est vraiment de faire partager car ces instants ne sont que des instants de pur bonheur, surtout quand cela vous est expédié par un vrai Poète.
