I designed and screen printed some t-shirts. . . . blog my Blessed Farmer card and I'll send you one. What size do you wear. Your blogs are great. Rick
ok. Thanks. I sent it in an envelope with part of your address written on a darker part of the paper so maybe there was a mix up in the mail. I'll just send it again. Peace.
04.07.15 Dare Mister De Villo Sloan,... I think we are going to enjoy new IUOMA member R. Prost (Evanston, Illinois). I hope he sends you something soon. Best to you. Richard Canard
I don't think the system lets you comments on peoples photos if your not a friend. At least that seems to be my experience, but I'm sorta new, so what do I know. Wanna be friends?
To answer your question, though, the Fluxus Southwest is not a stamp, but a printed "thingy" I did on my computer. I had no idea anyone was using it. I hope I didn't step on any toes. I am in the Souuthwest and I just decided to create it for myself. Unless someone claims it as their own I will probably continue to use it. I saw others adapting it to their locale so thought it would be ok. I thought I might even have it made into a proper stamp.
Thanks for your reply. I received this message on my page, from Ruud, so that sort of explains it...
"Babs Bird left the IUOMA with a remark: Member Feedback Babs Bird left because:I find this site very rude and run by old ladies who are censors, rather than artists. Such a shame"
Yeah, I cut my teeth on that literature thirty years ago. I submitted to BFS, and got a snarky response from Dennis McBee. I didn't know if he was pulling my leg, or that brutally "honest". I was a nineteen year old greenhorn who wanted to dive into the community head first.
A couple years later, 1987, I began submitting drawings and collages to Factsheet Five. They never published anything from me, but I received free issues. The only two publications to showcase my work were out of Huntsville, Alabama: Chris Fitts' & Chris Chapman's Fred's Wonderful Newsletter and David Chamberlain's Auricle.
My "claim to fame" are the hundreds, maybe close to a couple thousand collage/mixed media postcards I sent to friends, bands, record labels, 'zines, random strangers, and cute girls I liked.
Hey, DVS! I just searched IUOMA members for "confusion" to see if "Amalgamated Confusion" is a member and lo'n'Bhold, y'r name came up. ONLY y'r name. Y'r ol' Bud, Fike
Thank you for the wonderful critique about me and Mudhead's art.. You do a great service to the mail art community with all your wonderful writings. Keep up the great work!
Asemic Front: Most inspiring idea and I'm honored to be included. The problem is, I really love what you sent just as they are! They hang in my room, sparking ideas to explore, but I can't move on them yet. I will soon and only hope whatever happens does them justice. Thank you, DVS.

Glad you liked the book. "Found at the post office" ? Sounds like it was lost at one point :)
I scanned some of it before sending, total pain! Video, maybe? Up to you and the resources you have available.
