DVS, my friend brought games over for the kids last night. Guess what one of them was? Although the new fangled Twister is just not the same. She has no knowledge of the Stubbs/Ramone saga

and also, i'm glad to see DW has taken over my absence in here! ;-D
That is hilarious. I never would have guessed that. Weird what American inventions catch on in other countries-like Star Trek and France. I love SYFY but was never a Trekkie. I hope Stubbs and Ramone do well with their memoirs even though most of it is complete fabrication. Things broke down on the tour bus when Stubbs and Ramone started bus surfing. Jerry Springer? Don't know what did happen to them but hopefully they ejected him into space. But there's always Howard Stern right?
Yeah, Stubbs definately had his player phase, but deep down he really is gentlemen. He always held doors open for me with his hoofs and offered me the slop first. Oprah is over, so that's out. Maybe we could do a book signing at 4H meetings or something. I think we'd be real popular in the Ozarks too. Can't you manage the unmanageable?
Well, some people like big butts. And they can not lie. While other brothers can't deny That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist And a round thing in their face
I'd like to say I wrote it but, no, it is the beginning of a song by sir mix a lot. I will not start any nasty rumors about a butt fetish. Do u really have a foot fetish? No. Don't answer that. Who am I, who loves a pig, to judge?

hey, i started a google group for FREE ART, but i don't have your email.
Thank you for your words of comfort in my time of need DVS. You are a softie at heart aren't you? I like what you say about 'big butts and starved minds" . I guess all I got was slop, because that's all I expected. I must raise my expectations significantly. I must go from Budweiser to Sapporo, Miller Lite to Heinekin, Fritos to caviar. You have opened my eyez. off to cancel my butt implant surgery
I definately think there is a need for a mail art relationship Hotline of some kind. I know I've been racking up bills calling the psychic hotline every night "Does he still think about me?" "Is he right for me?" "Is he going to come back to me?" "Is he the right species for me?" She just keeps asking for my credit card number and telling me those are my lucky numbers. I think the need to create often is born from pain. Unless you make really pretty feel good art, then maybe not. What drives my compulsive need to send things through the mail? Only one answer. Pain. Sometimes it takes more than a stamp I guess. Maybe David Stafford can help with this mess. He seems to have an astute eye for sizing things up.
i've been watching some of the authors names you've been tossing about and a lot of them are the stuff amanda likes. could you possibly put together a list of your top ten/twenty favorite books for me to give her?
I know of a translater who works for really cheap, but they translate to Spanglish=might be a good compromise there. I was only intentionally trying to ruin Stubbs' life for a short period of time. It's always all about him isn't it. Pig narcissism is on the rise.
I made you a little something yesterday but used elmer's glue = bad decision. The whole postcard curled up and dried like a brittle, fall leaf. I'm on to new and better things for you, this time using UHU instead, like a good little European.
thank you so much for the compliment on my puppet !
It sounds so good to hear those words....they help defining what can make a piece impressing and how one can touch another mans soul. Listening to you and seeing other people´s work, I am so happy that I started to become a member of IOUMA...and that I love art, the artists and the discussions about art more and more....
Thanks DVS, any encouragement in educating myself on asemics is much appreciated. It's so new for me that I know I'm tripping around in the dark on my own (but having a hell of a good time doing so). Fine influences needed! Of course, there are plenty of those right here, but it's good to look at those with a long history too. Just a few of Michaux's showed up quickly via google, so there's much more to explore. Plus Guido mentioned a few others that I'll look up also.
I'm very excited right at this moment because I'm back from a journey to Artist & Craftsman Supply in Portland, where I picked up some india/sumi ink plus two bamboo pens -- one big fat one, and another, thinner one that also has a brush hidden at the other end. This is one of the few mediums/techniques I've never experimented with, and it seems right for asemics. Will find out shortly!
Dear Fellow-Boss - I am VERY chuffed to announce notification of arrival of TWO sets of Asemics in excellent working order!! Daily we approach our target ;-) XXX
I had liked to take part of asemic #5. Your projects are very successful and immediately the lists are completed. It will be in the near one! Congratulations! A great team DVS - Cheryl
DVS, hightail it back to the trashpo queen's blog and spill your confessions. You can't comment over there and then stay behind your veil of non-confessions. Stendhal wouldn't like it. IMHO of course.
I love it! Your bio-po is definately evolving and you seem to be exploring moisture. The fantastic Attitude Girl Asemic Glasses arrived today and were still wet. The note was barely legible as it was wet and bleeding. They look great and made me laugh and wince and think at the same time. I'm assuming they were wet from the wet paper towel lens? I see the missing lens here and it's all very evocative. Everyone in Attitude Girl Nation sees through rose colored glasses, but sometime the lenses are shattered so instead of seeing with her eyes, she sees with her inner vision. The bloody towel must be from the shattered glass. Curious now if that is some kind of grease spot or just freshly wet. Cool piece. gonna post a pic of these groovy asemic glasses. God knows what her world view will be with these!
It must have been a combo of the glue and hot weather. I will post today and you can see how the note bled. I was able to read it, but I knew right away what they were. Very great product line. i see these being a big hit at the Star Trek Convention if they are marketed right. I've been thinking of some more trashion ideas but nothing solid yet. The lawnmower created perfect art supplies? How wonderful. Isn't it funny how we walk outside in nature, yet we are excited looking for and finding trash. I knew you sent me synthetic bio-po and not bio-hazard. It would be daring, but would most likely encourgage more TOXIS spread. Can't wait to see your asemic 5 chapter. I only get one? Not fair. The asemic glasses have made Attitude Girl see negative space.
I'm glad the lens popped out. I thought it was very cool that you made it into a separate piece. Maybe the asemic glasses distort reality enough to make it more mystical and tolerable (enough to make pies) but your second piece is about regaining clarity.I'd say you overpaid on the glasses given that they essentially disintegrated. But yes, mass marketing and production are in order. It goes back to that sweat shop in Bangladesh. But then if they were "Made In America" that would be a selling point too. They should also be made of corn starch so they bio degrade after they fall apart in a week. Repeat sells-definately. What ever happened to your RK BamBam Wear? Attitude Girl mostly wears black to take the guesswork out of dressing. I'd love to see these glasses on the Parisian runways.
pre-broken and pre-scratched--so you never have to look anyone in the eye (you KNOW people would rather do anything that actually have to deal with each other_)
All you do to encourage me , it's the least I could do. I'll be putting something in the mail to you when I can scrape up the $1.71--or can I send a mail art collect call?
HI DVS! Got your mystery packet! Would you like me to send you the finished product??? I'm glad you've been spreading the gospel of burroughs and gison with Erni! Have you ever checked out the works of D.A. Levy? One of my favorite underground poet-artist-selfpublisher of the 60's!
Hey DVS, your #4 arrived today, and the bits of trash, you will see them pop up somewhere in my work! Thankyou! I like that word Asemiotics.... antibiotic asemics? Hope your pants don't fall down now with all your buttons in stuck my book.....

Stubbs left hoof prints all over my heart. I think there is a country song about it. I think Pink Floyd wrote it actually.
