  • he kind of dresses like you
  • at least with the black. ;-)
  • i've been thinking more on the FLUXUS objective of getting the masses to do art, and my thoughts were along the lines that the greater effect will not be what you see come from the art, but how you see the making of art effect the mentality of the people. a lot of people are stuck in the mentality that life is here to entertain them. watch movies, read books, listen to music, etc. spoonfed by the giants of the entertainment industry. i think if people begin activating their editibility of the environment parts of their brain, on a mass scale, there will be a big upheaval in the dynamics of art, entertainment, and most of all the daily lives of the common people.

    food for thought.

Perhaps Ernie played by Dolph? or a whole new direction with the Anti-hero saving the day?
  • DKeys

Oh, I made the asemic sweater in my spare time. The guy is someone I met at World of Warcraft. DW better get to work. Hollywood is waiting and the opening needs to be timed with Road Kill History Month.
  • i use gimp (gimp.org) it's free!
  • i use linux also, but that's a whole'nother discussion.
  • DKeys

What does the real DW look like? I want to know. I'm sure he's equally good at fighting laser sharks as Flumwulf.
  • if you get gimp i can send you an xcf or two, so you can see what i'm doing from within the program.

basically just lots of layers piled on top of each other, using some very basic filters for colors, and lots of cropping by region / colour. and each layer has at least some amount of transparency, save the bottom-most one.

  • i don't know how well gimp works in windows, but you can always put linux on a flash drive and boot your computer from it. i use xubuntu (xubuntu.org) the flash drive image has gimp already installed, so just boot to your xubuntu flash drive and start gimping away!

Please do! A fluxus performance for sure-statement on violence, coercion, taking advantage of the disadvantaged, dehumanizing the homeless,on and on. I wish I could remember the name of that artist that did a public art installation, in NYC I think, where she baked pieces all day in a little house she built, and put them on the ledge for people to steal. makes a better statement, but still encourages bad behavior

Better than some of the other spam I get!

Consider it filed. ROKIMO becomes Japanese-which gives it a lot more credibility than it deserves. And FARTMO? So that makes someone a Fartist? Now that's a harder sell, but I could see these catching on. BIG TYME
  • saw you favorited this already.

    god you're too fast.

now i really need to get cracking on the FRENCH HOMEWORK!!! ;-)

  • i'll post it there as long as i'm on this run and you aren't minding.

i'm bound to jump the train at some point, but until then...

  • DKeys

I like skunk fire to- good band name. I did wonder what gendeer meant. Generate. Engender. Commandeer.grandeur.
  • DKeys

I knew you meant gender, just free associating generation reindeer. I forgot I sent you fraudulent slop
  • DKeys

I would love to see these things. Definately living in public. You could do a Flux Confessional. Goes with your epic journey.
  • for my 7 year old daughter, who loves BLOOD+, and sent me mail art last week from my mom's house! ;-D

  • if you want to be included in my weekly FREE ART email lit, please let me know your address!
  • something top secret coming your way.

guard it with your life (at least as much as if it were biopo ;-)

  • you'd do good suspending me.

i just can't seem to keep my hand out of the cookie jar.

  • what i am and always was driving at is that there's a feeling in my head when i "read" asemic text.

it is the same thing i get sitting in french class when i get "off tracked," and again the same thing i get here reading wendy sooper dooper's email. it is that off-tracked-ness, that being lost but knowing there is something there, just not being able to latch onto it.

that is what asemics is all about, n'est pas?

so what if it's not hardbound book defined asemics, it's asemics in spiri.

    fuck the librarians.

    fuck the word junkies.

    fuck the machine.

    fuck the machine.

  • /end rant./
  • as i just explained twice now

    to two different people,

i see asemics as an internal state,

IMHO, which is obv. not very humble, but w/e,

i don't think it has much of anything to do with the external art.

to me, asemic writing is a state of the mind,

you are either in asemic reading mode (or asemic writing mode)

or you are not. you either see things without the particular

rules of languge which are ingrained in our heads from the time

adults begin to "teach" us THEIR way of interpretational language,

or you see things the way they were "meant" to be seen.

as in, the "right way." the way most people view the world,

    according to routine, ON-THE-TRACKS thinking.

we all exist there to some degree, and i'm sure you understand what i mean.

there are derailments, but for the most part we either abide

by the system or wind up in an institution.

asemics (to me) is that deviation from the course,

jumping out of the box, seeing what was not intended.

nobody is ever going to agree with me on this, i think.

    but w/e.

    it's how i see it. ;-D

i'm not going to agree for fitting in.

    it's not my style.

    the problem.

je pleure, je pleure, je pleure.

  • it's like being in a cloud,

    i'm not all here.

    a cloud full of rain.

  • sorry for being a little over sensitive yesterday.

but you actually did make me cry. :-/

    but it wasn't your fault,

you just triggered what was already under a very long process of build up.

i think i'm using the photo (first not the second)

    in my french presentation tomorrow.

the treachery of images will make a great presentation! ;-D

  • always glad to make an impact.

i hope for your sake that you have a good chiro.

  • and i hope your top secret mail arrives in tact.

it is bootable, but they aren't the steel-toe variety.

  • DKeys

DVS, got the asemic pages today. They look great in person and I can include this in my book with your 'real' chapters. Thanks for sending it-like the foot fetish through line and trash elements, but that your wrote 'reject' on them is one of my favorite things. Although clearly I don't see them that way:)
  • sorry dvs, bu i think dk has finally lost it.

    she's coming for you.

    to make chunk o dvs.

  • nice legs, btw.
  • d-koder rings were all sold out, but if you eat enough of these, you're bound to find something that can help you:
