i'm thinking of possibly taking off next semester to work on free art, right now i'm pretty much fighting for a grip with art and french, but i would really like to get my thoughts together on the free art thing. copyright is HUGE. if you're interested and have time, check out EFF.org and FSF.org, and if you like fiction, check out cory doctorow!
I'll have to make some asemic shopping lists for the book. Surprised Cheryl could sleep with all the questions for her floating through the ether all night. I'm confused about the pages too....
Rolling with you until the wheels fall off. Feeding monkeys? That sounds like heaven. and already i want to dress them up-lots of doll clothes here. Can't wait to see this Guess who's coming to dinner? very intrigued.........yet now even more confused. 8 pages yet we are sending 15? I hope they are all to be originalsz. Got tons of mail art yesterday and my first ever hate ma. gonna post that one soon. Hail Cheryl who will hopefully soon impart her pearls of wisdom:)
The photos were taken by Jim Santamour at Central New York. He deserves the credits.

any ideas what kind of paper is good?
i have amazon credit only, so that is my option for place of purchase.
found out the pell does not get disbursed until after halfway through the summer, when the second french class begins. :-/

it's my art for the day at any rate.
i'm so glad i joined MA365, it gives me the pressure i need to get things done! ;-D
been doing A LOT of postcards, i'll put them on here soon.
amanda told me the art's too complex, so i've put some real minimalist drawings on the backs!
as for the printer/scanner, i got an epson artisan in the spring with my leftover pell, i had no idea then i would be using it to the extent that i have been; it was a risk and one i am very glad i took!

Pioneer of aerodynamics (little eiffel, little eiffel) they thought he was real smart alec (little eiffel, little eiffel) he thought big they called it a phallic (little eiffel, little eiffel) they didn't know he was panoramic little eiffel stands in the archway (little eiffel, little eiffel) keeping low doesn't make no sense sometimes people can be oh so dense they didn't want it but he built it anyway (little eiffel, little eiffel) little eiffel stands in the archway (little eiffel, little eiffel) keeping low don't make sense keeping low doesn't make no-sense (little eiffel, little eiffel) little eiffel stands in the archway oh alexander i see you beneath the archway of aerodynamics.

i don't really have time for a long-winded discussion, but with moore's law of technologic progression, i don't think we'll ever be "there," but - i do think the link which binds artistic creativity with technology is definitely lagging.
i could make stabs at what could evolve art through technological progress, but they would fall short. i do think if there were a way to get a simple, easy to use tool for a visual exchange of ideas, something which had a chance of "catching on," there is some serious potential laying wait in the minds of the online masses.
Yeah, I'm the one dancing and I was thinking DW was the lounge singer dude. So yes, Totally confused. Who/where is DW then and who is the boy I left behind? I can't read the small text. Toxis Adventure-now I'll have to see what that is about. sounds interestingly confusing. I will soon be sending you some repulsive mail art.
I love it even more with the explanation. I can't wait to see where it goes. She leaves stubbs behind? After stubbs becomes an invalid from all that twister turns into a couch potoota hooked on pain pills. Hey, it could happen. Now who is Laura Penn?
I figured it was, but didn't know who Groot Suster was. Where on earth did you come up with that name? Our Fictitious Selves--good titie for a novel turned into a movie then sold at Target a month later
Very funny comment when you see what I will soon post-recently received from Erni. I would have liked to see the Groot Suster Epic- I hope STubbs is there to catch me when and if I fall from my meteoric rise as mail art star
Sounds great. I know I'd watch it on Netflix. So is it a happy ending? And what on earth are red crabbies? I really hope that's not part of the plot..smiley face...
