life is busy! I am making lots of smaller collages...I need to get focused for a new show but I am enjoying sending the smaller mail art packages out...I do have a package for you....I think these are different from other art I have sent you

my mail art envelopes and packets tend to start accumulating on the kitchen counter....the pile is growing rather large at the moment...

OBJECTS/ARTIST'S BOOKS:

Measures UP TO A4 MAXIMUM. The base or pedestal needed should be provided by the artist.

POETRY, FREE VERSE OR RHYME, PROSE, NARRATIVE, ESSAY, STORIES.

VISUAL POETRY:

Collage, visual poems, process poetry, illustrated poetry, labyrinth poems, phonetic poems, audible poems, semiotic, palindrome, holopoems, concrete poetry, video action, photo action, object poem, pseudovisual poetry, braille poetry.

VIDEO, SHORTFILM, DOCUMENTARY, ANIMATION:

All videos will be admitted, shortfilms, photography, documentaries, animations that do not exceed 8 minutes of length and they must be delivered on CD or DVD format ready for its presentation.

MULTIMEDIA EXPRESSION:

They will be admitted on CD or DVD format ready for its presentation including the credits, the photography, the list of the soundtrack that was used and the name of the author.

AUDIO FORMAT:

the audio format admitted has to be:
Wave 44,100 Hz 16 bit stereo
Mp3 from 96 'til 320 KPSS
If the expression is audible, high fidelity required.

for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each

Your card is the first response to my Make-A-Wish Haiku project. Thank you for creating such a powerful, evocative drawing! It was particularly meaningful for me because my drawing skills are weak, as I am currently documenting in my self-mocking series of ATCs "Learning to Draw". I usually express myself visually through mixed media collage / assemblage or abstract acrylic paintings.

Hi Dewi! Ugh....I really need to get caught up, this coming weekend is devoted to some catchup and a mass mailing is in order! I hear you on the Little Big Stories, I wraked my brain for the one I am (overnighting) to Andy for the Library show. But I was thinking that for the sake of sanity and time I wasnt going to try and do a story for each piece this month. One may just be a "tribute" to a favorite character in a manga or comic series. I thought with your wonderful drawings we may see people in manga t-shirts or reading a comic, maybe satnding in line for the next comic inspired film! But hey, its mail art no rules!

i'll see what it costs to send a plate to canada,

i might send one depending on the postage costs,

i'm not sending overseas, but i think canada is less

by quite a bit.

 

i am sending out only one per week, because even just in the states these are going to be expensive, plus the side benefit of being a fun long-term project! i am keeping a list of people involved and i'll go through in order!

 

if i don't send a plate, i'll send /something/ at any rate!!
