What a banana day - thank you Finnbadger, Katerina, Dean, Tonipoet and Carina (TicTic I am watching the letterbox...). The banana pop-up gallery looks like this:

I am completely disgusted by my inability to estimate delivery time for my banana mail. Well, it's coming everybody.

Linda - relax. There's not a banana on this planet that would want you to be vexed about the post and all its delightful vagaries!

oh, Stripygoose i hope you receive it soon, i mailed them all on the same day.

A few of mine seems to be late as well.  You win some and you lose some.  It's all part of the fun game.

Happy Banana Day for everyone!! (late, sorry!) 

As I knew that my sendind do not arrive to anyone in the Banana Day I decided to wait and celebrate it going to the post office yesterday... so everyone will receive my banana-sending late, but at least it will have been sent on the correct day. Makes sense? Doesn't matter! Every day is banana day!

'Just realized this morning that

the banana stickers I sent were mostly from "Ecuador" :-(

With the horrid earthquake there,

the bananas at  today's farmers' Greek market are from Colombia.

So sad.

maybe it's the shape..but banana boomerangs do exist,  and Stripygoose just got one...sorry it happened to you, but the post did not cooperate this time, the address is correct but the claim it's that it was not sufficient.. i received the envelope open cut on the back the whole content put together with the envelope inside a german post one. i will send it back to you...the address i wrote it's the same you have...
