Ah, someone's using the old "woodcut print" term.  Looks good, Maxima.

  • Maxima Strange

Yes, Bradford, I got the idea because yours reminds me of a woodcut! I love yours!

Ha ha!  These are great. Love the woodcut prints. I might have to do a few of those. Thanks for sharing your results. I tried the updated version of Craiyon but it doesn't seem that much different to me?!

I agree that there doesn't seem to be much difference in resolution between the two versions, Michael.  I see you've added the "postage stamp" term with Yoko Ono.  Also, the terms, "fluxus" and/or "surreal" seem to help add randomness.  I've also tried "lithograph", "engraving", or "photogravure" to provide texture, but "woodcut print" is the most effective.

I've been working with crAIyon since June, but laid low waiting for someone to mention this site.  I"ve got thousands of images saved and archived at this point.  Many of them made me laugh out loud for real when I first viewed them.

That one is very cool, Bradford

Two more I did this morning thinking about the mail art possibilties.

The Mail Art Wave in round or square format is spectacular!

  • Michael Leigh

Yes, I was pleased how that turned out, Wondering if more detailed prompts effect the outcome more rather than concise three worded ones?  I will have to experiment.

Your enhanced high school portrait photos are quite colorful, Michael.

As for search terms, the longest (by word count) string I've used is 13 words:

high definition structure on dark side of the moon intaglio print postage stamp

It yielded some interesting images.  One in particular points to a specific celestial body as the source image for the rendering; the icy moon, Mimas, orbiting Saturn.  I rather like crAIyon's version better than the actual photo.

  • Michael Leigh

That would be Jerry Lee Lewis postage stamp crayon prompt. Who knew he had a vent act?   ha ha!   Lovely moon image.  I must try some longer prompts.  Thanks Bradford,

Since the beginning of first lockdowns I have been keeping a sketchbook and try and make a drawing every day. Some ending up on the dedicated Daily Doodle group on facebook. So I wondered what Craiyon would make of the daily doodle prompt. I am suitably impressed.

Thanks for sharing that, Michael.  BTW, I recently received an invitation to be a Beta tester for

    DALL·E

  • Michael Leigh

Cheers Bradford.  Not head anything from DALL-E 2  yet - maybe I wasa bit slow of the mark!  O well back to my doodlings!

  • Michael Leigh

My DALL.E 2 invite came through today so here's some joke and novelty pages from 30's I prompted -

  • Michael Leigh

gnarled crowsnest of cardboard the small holes for glass beads grasping with a hole through the post

Child holding a hot water bottle in the shaped of a cartoon character-

Those look great, Michae!.  I got thwarted with having to train a new person and with finishing my GOTH EMPORIUM submission.

I want to revisit some search string combinations on the larger platform and find new ones based on the results.

    Cheers
