Erni, the Voyager 'Golden Record' also includes:

* greetings ftom Planet Earth  in 55 languages

* 'Sounds of the Earth' (including wind, frogs wild dogs & a train)

* as well as the 90-minute selection of "eclectic music -- Chuck (Johnny B Goode), Stravinsky & folk music from different continents

BUT the vinyl has to be played at 16 2/3rds rpm : not an easily-findable standard, anywhere.

BIG But...concerns the Pioneer Plaque that is worrying because, well...

Look at the human figures and what they represent. I'll send you various interpretations of them tomorrow when I'm less tired.  Good night in

VINYL ART LIVE --INTRODUCING CAROLINE LEO SOL !!

Comment by Keith S. Chambers on May 23, 2014 at 6:03am

I have never had the opportunity to see Mr. Berry perform, but I have been listening to his music like, forever . . .

Yes, I have seen the rockumentry of Chuck's birthday organized by Keith Richards. Absolutely brilliant.

One of my fav Chuck Berry stories is when he first met the Beatles. A 'meeting' was arranged for Chuck to meet the lads. Although they knew he was going to show up around a certain time, when Chuck walked into the room, Lennon couldn't help himself and went all fan-fanatic on the man; "Oh my God, Its' CHUCK BERRY!!!"

Hi, Keith. I saw Chuck, Jerry Lee and Little Richard about 15 years ago in Holland. They were all in their eaRly 70's but were still amazingly good rockers. (If Petrolpetal asks I will tell her my 'Great Balls of Fire Chuck/Jerry Lee/Lil Richard story') Did you ever see the rockumentary about Keith Richards organising a concert for Chuck's 60th (I think) birthday? It's great: catch it if you can.

Hey Val, glad to see that the vinyl made its way to France. Self-portrait, very funny . . . I wish I were at least half as talented as that man, Chuck Berry . . . the man with the big brown eyes, and fingers ready to burst into flames. Chuck is the original rock n' rollin' guitar god.
