Dear Rudd... Sad Greetings... after to know about this serious problem... with your TAM Rubber stamp Archive...!!!
Precisely... in the hands of a Gallery owner ... When the principles of Mail Art is not allowing for any reason to let out our art in such hands ... that is known historically that these individuals are dark by his poor handling of artworks and missing payments and manipulations that make to the artists ....
I have an idea ... to the Greenpeace's way ... Avaaz.org or Amnesty International...We will should do a request or demand by a massive cyber REQUEST....!!! Tell to Mr. Harry Stendhal the immediate return of your unique archive...
calling IUOMArtist and people art friend in USA & NY for demand this...
... And with all due respect... Tell to our friend & Curator John Held Jr. that make a formal request and to interview to the gallery owner in NY asking him the return of your material...
Do you have the e-mail address or the address of the Gallery ... Do you remember... the case and the defense of Humberto Nilo, Chilean Mail Artist defended by the Mail Art colective AUMA... and some cases of Mail Artists who have been supported by mass mailings to the places where these people live...?
Sincerely yours... please consider my opinion

One year later I am confronted with a real problem connected to this exhibition. Harry Stendhal, the Gallery owner, has yet to return the 670 stampsheets he has in New York. I have asked him often, also asked John Held as a currator to help me on this but the sheets are still not here. I have set a deadline twice (Januari 2011, and now June 1st) for him to return my belongings, but he alsways promisses that he will do so, but actually doesn't. So with the second deadline I have told him I will go public with this problem, and will seek help in this. Probably also my lawyer in forcing the return of this specific part of the TAM Rubberstamp Archive. It seems that mail-art and the official art-world don't always fit well together. The collection that Harry Stendhal has is essential to my basic collection I have here in Breda. It needs to be returned. Any advice in how to deal with this situation is welcome.
