Before dying, Pierre had sent to me the drawing of a butterfly with a poetical underlining “The World is Round” writing to me “your turn”. Thanks to the publisher André Thabaraud and the series of stamps that he made, that project had become possibile.

In Venice, during the Biennale 2011, I passed those rubberstamps to my friends Tiziana Baracchi and Giancarlo Da Lio and the butterflies started flying away to land on Mailartists’ postal sendings. This exhibition is the result of the participation of 34 artists coming from 9 different countries.
