International Mail Art Call

NO MUOS

For Peace

For Health

For Earth

The Muos is a powerful satellite system that allows the United States to run any military operation anywhere in the world. It consists of three huge parabolic antennae installed in Niscemi, in the center of Sicily, in a beautiful natural reserve but not far from the village.
The movement No Muos is fighting for the peace in the world, the rights of the Earth, the health of people. Sicily does not want to be an instrument of war, but a place of peace , culture, solidarity among peoples.

Theme: NO MUOS, against the war, for peace, the health of people and the Earth
Size: 4” x 6” postcard . Up to A4.
Technique: Free.

Deadline: 10.05.2015

All works will be exhibited in several locations starting with Enna and Niscemi, from september/october 2015. Dates will be communicated on the web.

E' bello, in giorni come questi, in cui si amplificano auspici, sogni, desideri… sentire la forza positiva e colorata di tante volontà, sparse per il mondo, orientate alla pace e al ripudio della guerra e dei suoi feroci strumenti… Uno splendido tessuto, cui ognuno porta il suo filo… che attende altri fili…
