Mail Art Project
The cultural association "Euterpe" proposes the draft Mail Art is dedicated to the bicentenary of his birth (1813-2013) of the master Giuseppe Verdi / Richard Wagner, same age, same fame, but a totally different way of making music, originally other than the first farmers, the second bourgeois.
Verdi's music tells the tragedies and sufferings of human beings. The characters are always shaded pale green, faceted, complex and belong to different periods and different environments. With his portrayal of pain has to feelings of Italians who awoke around dramas and ideals of the Risorgimento.
Wagner's music gives voice to the pain of the gods is dreamlike, spiritual and metaphysical. Wagner's characters have a clearly defined role and ages nuances. Inspired by the medieval German and Germanic myths. His anti-Semitism was later exploited by the Nazis.
Title "music"
The music as visual art understood as communication, as a moment of aggregation and identification of peoples, as political propaganda and patriotic liberation as a state of mind.
