Event Description

In the Forest of Symbols
A game to meet each other

"Like echoes off and for a long time tend to a deep unity..."
Baudelaire

Do you want to be found in the forest of symbols?
“Symbol” comes from Greek σύμ-βάλλω, «put together».
If you d’like to be found by someone who traces back your footsteps, the symbols you have left for him/her to find you, join us.
You can keep your name secret, or just a message, it is up to you. The  important thing is that you disguise yourself. Because only the initiates, who are able to hear you, can find you. This game is about recognizing each other.
Where and how you want to be found it's your decision.
What can’t be reached by rationality and science, agape and love will find it naturally, let others decipher what you have hidden and only through a spontaneous intuition it will be possible to come to you.
Is there a code in art? No! Art is free. References, memories, colors, sounds, smells, fragrances, associations... thanks to their sensibility artists are able to make the forest of symbols, where they hide their concepts and their correspondences, understandable.
Everyone has his own code to communicate. Find someone who knows your code and knows how to decrypt it, because it vibrates within himself too. It's like a genetic code.
The genetic code is the set of rules contained in our deoxyribonucleic acid, or DNA.
Communication is the center of everything. Art was meant as an instrument of communication since the beginning of human history, when cavemen started painting on the cave walls, matching symbols to objects and concepts for the first time. Creating meaning is an artificial process but communicating is an innate process.
Communication is an animal feature, it's pure existence and Art comes from the instinct of a direct grip on reality, a desire to reproduce ourselves in Reality and Beauty. So, the mission is to communicate with symbols, with images and alchemy that refer to other of ourselves.
Join in and lose yourself in the forest of symbols, an emerald dark forest, behind the shadow of an apparent misunderstanding and, let the your message be deciphered, look for the messages you have left.
Whoever finds you, he/she speaks your same language.
Do you want to play?
