Event Description
I am hosting a Gallery Exhibition called Ben Franklin: An Artistic Interpretation of Pure Genius in September 2016 at the Buttonwoods Museum- home of the Haverhill Massachusetts Historical Society. By way of introduction my name is Chris Madden and I recently graduated with a Doctor of Arts in Leadership Studies degree. Being a 41+ year career U.S. Postal Service employee, my dissertation was focused on the first Postmaster General Benjamin Franklin being a Servant Leader. In celebration of and appreciation of his achievements and idiosyncrasies, I am inviting all artists of all levels to submit artwork which symbolizes their personal interpretation and creative imagination of this world renowned multi-dimensional genius. There are no fees, no sales, and no returns. Artists may mail up to 4 pieces of art to be included in his exhibit. All participating artists will receive acknowledgement of their work. Artists must include their name and address. The exhibition will show paintings, drawings, prints, collages, mixed media works, photography, sculpture, tattoo designs, spray paint work, etc. Any size artwork is acceptable. If you do not want to send your original art, please send a good photo or a professional print. If interested please send work to; Ben Franklin Art Exhibit; P.O. Half the the American states have counties named Franklin so it was time to cut up and old atlas and bring all of them together into the Land of Franklin (and also use that 1/2¢ Benjamin Franklin postage stamp). In today's outgoing mail....
