Please complete the situation regarding the postal services in your country.

Sad news: starting next month, mail will only be delivered three times a week in The Netherlands. Reason: cutbacks. Stamps are becoming more expensive.

Fortunately, you still have local post offices, DeeDee. Even those have become rare here. Really dreadful!

! But it is also terrible to read how people treat post boxes.

I live in rural Vermont so mail is picked up at my box at the end of the driveway. But since the mail people are driving all over the place, the mail never gets posted until the next day at least. What used to take 2 or 3 days to get to a destination, now takes up to a week. But still, a bargain for the 82 cents when you think about it. And so far, it's still picked up 6 days a week.
