Lory Carriere: becomings and turbulences of the body

I was very pleased to receive Lory Carriere’s works for the call “International Mail Art Call – Exercises to Undo the Judgment of the Body (or to Create a Body without Organs for Oneself).” In Brazil, this call is part of my master’s research.

The works presented are intense, sensitive, and marked by a sense of generosity, engaging deeply with the conceptual axis of the proposal and expanding its possibilities. Each submission becomes a gesture of openness, proposing unexpected solutions and challenging the ways we understand, name, and experience the body.

Thus, the call unfolds as an affective and collective cartography, where different poetics meet, intersect, and transform one another. The call remains open until early May, welcoming new contributions that wish to join this field of experimentation and exchange.
