Informacion about our Mailart-Call "Sisyphos" 2025/2026

Dear friends,  

below, for your information, is our letter of thanks to the submitters of works 

for our "Sisyphus" call for submissions 2025/2026.

"Dear beautiful humans ,

We would like to sincerely thank you for the many submissions.

We received 274 entries from 192 people representing 36 countries across 4 continents.

The presentation of the results took place from February 21–27, 2026, in the community room of the UNESCO World Heritage Housing Estate Bruno Taut.The opening reception was a great success and delighted around 40 guests. We were especially pleased that several artists were able to attend.Throughout the event, there was lively discussion about the exhibited works, and questions about the topic of “Mail Art” could be clarified. The exhibition will remain on display for a few more days and will conclude with the closing event on February 27, 2026.

Today we are sending you the brochure of the Mail Art project on the theme “Sisyphus.”

Enclosed with this letter you will also find the original call for entries and announcement for the Mail Art call “Sisyphus” for your records and as a reminder. Additionally, we have included one of our flyers, which we use locally to seek support for our work.

Of particular importance to us is our new call-for-entries flyer for the next theme, “Solidarity.”We would be very pleased if you had the time and interest to participate.

For 2027, we are planning to present the Mail Art calls “COURAGE,” “SISYPHUS,” and “SOLIDARITY” together in a joint exhibition.
