Shinod Akkaraparambil asserts the moral rights to live in this world. His works revolve around the multitudes of urban life, congestion, stress, strain and competition. He questions the reality of Social Darwinism in the daily lives of competing urban citizens. The characters and imageries portrayed in his art projects are products of an artist's imagination who had a different upbringing in his childhood unlike the experience he had later in his life from several fast-growing Indian cities. He is a carpenter turned artist from Malabar, northern part of Kerala. He lived as a street artist after migrating to the national capital Delhi from Malabar. He has won several awards and exhibited his works in India and abroad.
