I think you're right, one of the best things about this service is that you get to build long distances relationships with other like-minded people. I don't think we get to revel enough in that element of our comunity.
Just got your work in the mail and it is great. I like the different textures and "action." Going to work on some stuff and send out soon. Thanks for the mail and the conversation over the past few days.
I am a community college teacher. I teach basic literature classes and English classes...fun stuff. I can't wait to get your mail. I really need to create some stuff this week.
Wow, I'm honored that I inspired anyone to do anything...thanks so much.
As for the handwriting, I don't mind that it looks all that bad because it becomes a style, a type. I think my students hate that my handwriting is terrible but I tell them I write poorly that way it forces them to ask questions.
No, I'm not a handwriting lefty but I am the other kind.
Many thanks for that wonderful Royalist missive addressed to His Highness Valentine Mark Herman -- from Liz and Phil to ....who....you and hubby? (via Dunham's Bay, of course).
Even though you (and hubby?) didn't get an invitation to the Royal Wedding, you'll certainly get a Special Royal Wedding piece at the end of April from His Highness.
Oh- the post office guy stamped that huge stamp RIGHT ON TOP of David's letter - obscuring some of the text. I thought it was tacky. No one really offended me.
Can I ask you a personal question? Not for me, of course, but for my statisticians who need this info to round out the polling data for the month. How did you happen to pick me to send a card to? Your answer will help us improve customer relations.
Glue is a perpetual vexation. I mostly use spray mount and rubber cement. Neither is satisfactory. I lived in the poor section of Redwood City which was just blocks from Atherton. The people next door were humble folk who kept a shetland pony and it had many fly companions.

Thanks again!

Your story is such a funny little echo of an ATC I sent to Jen Staggs (see link).

I moved to New Mexico because of the waters. But Rick, there are no waters in Casablanca. I was misinformed....
Cheryl,
Thanks so much for the butterfly. I'm trying to figure out a way to scan all the pieces that will convey your ingenuity. How's Menlo Park these days?
