Ok - Jack here :-) - Carina says the old man is Jean Sibelius who played a part in the formation of Finnish identity.  The text is from Leonardo's life too - its a beauty :-) X

Carina's big question series is phenomenal. I didn't realize it would be a series, but it seems to be, and more power to her. (I think her questions are invading my dreams--in a good, stimulating way.) This is a beautiful piece! Glad you blogged it, Svenja.
