We need ideas!?

Dear fellow human beings,

Warm greetings to you all, and I wish you a happy and peaceful May.

The mail art call by the Sisyphus Society on the theme of “Solidarity” is underway.

As announced, we are planning an exhibition for late 2026 / early 2027 in which we would like to present the submitted works from the calls “COURAGE” (2024/2025), “SISYPHUS” (2025/2026), and the current call “SOLIDARITY” together in one exhibition.

As usual, the search for suitable venues is proving to be somewhat complicated.
The density of artists in Berlin is so high that the demand for exhibition spaces is correspondingly intense.

We are currently in discussions with venues that we consider suitable and hope that, from the perspective of those responsible there, we in turn are also considered suitable for their space. Difficult, difficult.

The exhibition may take place in Berlin, but it does not have to.

And now we are calling on our fellow human beings!

If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let us know.

Here are our wishes regarding the venue:

• Open to the public

• Supervision/security should ideally be available

• No costs on the part of the venue

• We will likewise not charge any fees

• Duration: 2–4 weeks, longer if possible

• Approximately 600 A5-format exhibits, ideally viewable from both sides
