Ah, the good old days! .25 Rotring drafting pens and Letraset!!

The stamps are real.  The letters are Letraset - left over from olden times when I had to hand letter (or use letraset) and hand draft architectural floor plans...

Is this done with Letraset? And real stamps? Howzit done?

A trivia question:  Who can tell me where the little black-and-white photo (above the yellow rectagle) of the plane crashing through the billboard is from?

Hint, I snapped it while watching a movie on TV one night...

Syracuse can be pretty desolate place - but it is a little more hopping at 11:00am than it is at 1:00... ;-)

Oh sorry Jim, yes, you wrote 1:00 a.m., I mistook the two points for another 1!

actually it was taken at 1:00 am - I had arrived from Tampa earlier and was waiting for my brother who was coming in from NYC...his plane was late, mine, of course, was on time...

This is the "old" part of the airport, built in the 1960s.  The main terminal's ceiling is a series of peaks and valleys with that great aviation architecture that made the building itself seem like it was flying...
