"Strangling fig" by Vizma Bruns, Australia

"Strangling fig", is this something common in Australia? I am interested in plants as an amateur, but this kind of fruit tree have I never seen! How lucky I am to live in Finland (?) I am familiar with blueberry and apple trees... Thank you Vizma for this knowledge as from gardener to gardener! Love your stamps too!

Oh, this mail looks as if it has been through a storm!! Yes, there are lots of these stranglers in Australia, mainly in the more tropical regions...I never sit under them or get too close to them!! ;-)

Thanks for blogging this warning Carina!!
