Howdy, All.
Hello, IUOMAns!
Still way behind on replying and not catching up so's you'd notice.
Had chemo yesterday and, as usual, the steroids they infuse to keep me from being nauseous seem to result in an increase of energy at least for the next day. So I'd better use summa it to pare down the backlog.
Some may have noticed that I've adopted an abbreviated [4me anyway] format with one of my photo cards used as a postcard. Since my chemo side effects seem to be worsening, I doubt I'll get faster in the foreseeable future and y'r likely to see more postcards excepting probably those who send interesting notes and letters.
MY family physician discovered that I've got an irregular heartbeat and, if we can shave a part of my chest so the heart monitor will stop reporting it can't communicate I'll have results for the cardio-doc I see in a coupla weeks.
Our Winter in WV is not bad, with little snow and so far the most trying time was the freakish cold spell many of us experienced. We're moved into our new, manufactured home, situate only a few yards in front of our old home of 52+ years and only lacking a few pieces of the 'junque' which formed the piling 'system' still largely filling it.
My Beloved Shirley quilts about every day and I've devolved into not doing much at all except playing and doing business on the computer. Just got an i9-27000[?] for half-price from HP's business refurb store with a 1TB nvme main drive which I expect to run FilterForge as fast as the proverbial scalded ass ape. So the flow of tortured images may even increase!
Thank you for y'r support and caring messages which probably helped my Turkish Delight, Dr. Soley my oncologist put my cancers in remission.
More later,
Y'r ol' Bud, Fike
