Must be the height of kitchen tops that provide a semblance of safety, I did the same when the snake was inside. Sat there for 2 hours until help came. I expected a few burly blokes to come to my rescue but it was one petite girl with a ponytail who marched right in! I felt like such a wuss!!

I'll try to get the waders this weekend!

Viz, i once left a lawn mower running in the back yard back in the day when they didn't turn off automatically.

Ran in the house and jumped up on the kitchen counter top and called a friend to come over and turn it off.

Yes, snake sighting, non-poisonous. Get those boots back, put them on then post a pic. ;-) beverage in hand of course.

Hip high wading boots, I gave some to a friend last Xmas, but he's too fat for them so I may have to ask for them back.

Sorry, don't be fixated, do as I did, run home screaming and drink 2 tumblers of Cointreau until the shakes stop. Then open some champagne to celebrate still being alive.  Cheers Alicia!

The talisman was mailed to you early last week. Red bellied black snake?!! - Looks like you need a talisman you can wear or carry with you. Do you have hip high wading boots? You know i will be fixated on this all day.

OK Alicia...

Hey featured artists, please be friends with Alicia!!!! It'll be worthwhile!!!

How's that?

Your snake taliswoman would've been handy yesterday when I almost stepped on a red bellied black snake. Had to back away!

Mail art is a matter of the heart!!! Really?? That's great! I'll have to learn that, is it Finnish or Swedish?

Always very cool mail in your mailbox, Vizma! Wonderful stamps and colors.  Glad to see my Neanderthal Man has arrived :))  The stickers is from a mail campaign 20 years ago and says, write me, thinking of you, mail art is a matter of the heart.  Thanks for blogging, Vizma!
