This is my first mail from Janine, actually my first mail-art from Switzerland. It is a very haptic card made of thick layers very cleverly assembled, I love the composition and the use of that character, even on the back of the card. I think this is a hit, thank you Janine, I love it!

Oh, and that must be an anti-MIZ envelope, I'm sure! :-))

That movie - not well known - made me appreciate that Johnny Depp is a very good actor. Most of it is him in an empty room talking to himself - an almost impossible challenge to keep anyone's attention given the movie audience - you know, one high-speed car chase after another - and he really is riveting.

That sounds like a VERY classic Johnny Depp movie. And I can tell even without googling it that it's also a Tim Burton Movie. Checking it now.... OK, no, I was wrong...

I have this somewhat negative personal association with the garden thing. There's a movie called "The Secret Garden" (or something really close) with Johnny Depp. It's based on a Stephen King story about a psychotic writer-serial killer who buries his victims in his garden.

 

Johnny Depp's performance is pretty great actually because most of the time he is by himself having dialogs with his multiple personalities - all distinctly different characters.

 

So his secret garden was his wife, local sheriff, three people who were unfortunate to have their car break down near his cabin & about a dozen others.
