Received from Cheryl Penn, South Africa--Earnest Ernest

It's always a gift to receive Cheryl's otherworldly work. The images and the text seem to reflect a disconnected being while others try to control people's lives. And who has not felt disappointed by the sun's cowardly behavior of hiding behind clouds when it is needed most. By the end of Part 2 Ernest fades and then comes back again as Geordie. I love the asemics, Cheryl's signature red thread, and the layers of architecture and landscape. There's a map here too but it's mostly hidden by asemics--a typical aspect of the human journey no matter what name you go by, I'd say. Moving work as usual, Cheryl. Thank you.

The plot thickens. I have a piece of the Ghostwriter myself but I don't know exactly where in time it belongs to. It will all come together in the end. Great piece as usual!!!

"What does it mean?"...are we asking for "meaning"? Well, some clues and intent always adds.

'Tis a gem on its own, too! Amazing, Cheryl!(said with much envy!)

Great blog, Bifidus...lucky you!

A great CP-SA piece I haven't seen before. What does it mean? Well, something to do with windows...

P.S. - I saw the movie Ghost Writer - that is why this is part 2. Average movie BUT that glass window (on every page) looking out on the desolate sky formed a large part of movie setting - wonderful - a view through to ANOTHER world - and you used the term otherworldy - you're good!!  :-) X

Bifidus - thanks for blogging as usual.  HHHMMM! The disjointed narrative of life for sure.  The search, the will to endure, the hiding sun, a further self discovery and will there even be closure and/or reward? Part 3 will be your next installment.  Erni - FINALLY - and I  apologise for the delay - a piece left FREEZING Kwa Zulu Natal for you yesterday :-) X
