I don't have an answer to your dilemma. To be more precise, I don't understand that image at all—perhaps due to the language barrier, or perhaps due to a lack of information in that field. I am writing this comment to commend your engagement in the fields of justice and freedom. Personally, I have been exposed to many discriminatory forms of terrorism, but I have decided not to speak out publicly on that subject for now. My reasoning is that I don't want to give media space to negative phenomena and people. Evil loves exposure. Unfortunately, such things exist even in something as wonderful as mail-art.

Globeol had a lot of fun in his time. Here are just two samples. What is discussed here was published in 1919, immediately after the First War.

Found that the image of the weird bottle figured guy hitting the other man comes from an old advertisement for “Globéol.” It was likely a “strength tonic”... and the imagery is clearly racist.
