November 13, 2015 - In recent months I have received stellar work in a Post-Pop spirit, and I have engaged in discussions about the persistence of Pop in the mail art network. (Richard Canard and Carina Granlund are two of my faves.)

I am thrilled to share with you today, slightly belated, this FAB piece by the enigmatic but always brilliant liketelevisionsnow. This piece might have been intended as part of the Post-Pop conversation. Certainly, it is a memorable contribution to the Mink Ranch theme. I am always deeply appreciative when folks send work that is especially compatible with MinXus-Lynxus, although that is not required. (I would especially like to receive more asemic writing and vispo.)

liketelevisionsnow has a recognizable vision and aesthetic. In this instance, it is very interesting to see that orientation applied to the PopArt genre. The vast spaces of the Western with all its references and narratives also give the work a deep resonance. Art by liketelevisionsnow always transcends a single surface and therefore cannot help but bring a depth to any Pop constructs explored.
