WOW Original Octopus Banana stamps from the Quindi Islands.  My travel agent is still trying to find me flights to there.  It seems they do not have an airport, train station, or even a bus stop.

haha, i can imagine....

all is los..t, for me in German. i have put myself in so many embarassing situations..i can only laugh about it together with them now! once i asked for a "tote"(dead) at the butcher's instead of a "Tüte" (bag) sending him into panic trying to explain me that everything he sells is dead but fresh...lol..it took me a little Marcel Marceau act to clear myself from scorn..we still jokes about it, though.

.. not sure where i've read it..discovered by Adalberto Quindi....i think a German italian-born cartographer who according to legend, died locked-up in some psychiatric ward after showing his sketches of the islands fauna...
