Of Monsters And Men, Dean aka Artist in Seine

This strange card arrived like this, iron-shaped and with an eye.

It turned out to be a four panel celebration of music and entertainment of great stature, such as Liza Minnelli, Elvis, Supertramp, AC/DC... No wonder I heard music when I opened it!

Not only that, inside the card, I found a free Icelandair card, New York City parking card, and a genuine piece of jewelry in silver from the most famous jewel shop in Paris: Metal Pointus (four and a half star reviews say). I give it five stars!

I am still trying to deal with the changes in the French postal system. 1 stamp is for 20 grams, and two stamps is for up to 100 grams. There is no in between any more. So once it hits the 21 gram mark, who knows what you'll get. But you can be sure that I'll always get my 100 grams worth of postage! And I have a big box of extras ready to make up the difference. Who knows, maybe I'll even turn to envelopes!

OH yes, and I taught myself how to make gothic arches with only a compass. Great fun.
