"New Luck Powder" Postcard is Over the Moon

This "anonymous" postcard arrived providing me with much delight. By the style and humor I'ma gonna say this is a David Stafford creation. Unfortunately, it looks like the postal machinery has once again altered a piece of mail art from the artist's original intention...whatever chaise or tuffet or ejecto-chair that this woman is sitting on looks like part of it got ripped and torn asunder from the front of the p.c.  The effect is still tremendous, but one always wonders is something essential was lost...  Anyway, "T[h]om's a lucky man," indeed for having received this mail art...

The backside is just as amusing... a glossy of a 1960s housewife with properly shellacked dome of copper-colored hair, bangs just so...

Thank you!
