Nancy Excels herself

I am one very happy chicken receiving this envelope stuffed with goodies from dear Nancy.... a gorgeous vintage style trash book, handmade nancypaper, a postcard to Nancy's mum informing her about the skylight in the kitchen nook, a front page of the Portland Press Herald, and some pages from Shakespeare's King Richard for me to use sometime! WHEW! What treasures!

The trashbook is so neat, tied up with some fine thread, and includes all kinds of ephemera, including a piece of Lindt Choccie paper that I sent to nancy with some other trash. Nancy also included her favourite poem which I have seen on other blogs, lucky me now I have it too. A teabag label that came from Germany to USA and now to SA, how trash travels these days! The main (Maine???) cover is the cover of Dr Miles New Weather Almanac from 1912, such wonderful vintage trash Nancy, I am truly thrilled with this! THANKYOU!

Oh I forgot - some maine Autumn leaves too...

Too many amazing pages to blog but i am sure you can all see what a FAB this is!

I've really enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts about them, and also had to straighten out the misconception that these take a lot of time. Your "deluxe" trash descriptor is funny. I didn't know chickens are happy! They all have only one expression, and it's the same one, and if it's happy that makes me feel better about their lot in life.

I tip my hat to Diane, always, because if it weren't for her it's doubtful I'd have thought of the book form for my studio garbage. Thanks again, Diane *****
