So, as many of you know I went on a long trip during August and September. When I arrived back home there were piles and piles of mail waiting for me. Here's a quick overview of some of the beautiful things I received. Thank you so much to the marvolous people who sent me mail - you can be sure to get sometime nice in return.

Hi Kiera - this blog seems to me further documentation of your ambitious summer project - adding the mail-art you received during the time you were traveling. It's interesting to see who sent you things and their choices for expression. I can't resist commenting that this is the first GA piece I've see in a long time - even if a snapshot from the past. I recognize, now with some nostalgia, the Old School style he was employing then - circa the era of the infamous Minnesota Monkey Purge, which actually played itself out partially on Priddle's blog - and you have an example of that poor martyr's work here also.- a very nice example from Ross Priddle, I think. GA's "strictly for amatuers text," now in the wake of mail-art history, illustrates that he was not an ironist but an American pragmatist, using what scant resources were available to him. I know, I should let it go. I also REALLY liked the "You are here" piece you've submitted to that Fluxus show. Great piece for what sounds like an important show. Best wishes - DVS
