Maryann Battaglia, fellow Oregonian, makes beautiful mail-art

Maryann says I was the first person to "reach out" to her on this site, so I am privileged to receive this absolutely gorgeous envelope and contents. I wish we had "feel-o-vision" because this envelope needs to be touched to get its full beauty. It has many layers of paint, paper, and shiny stuff, applied with exquisite care. Even the little black dots have a purpose and are very well done (they continue around the back). Within, a note from Maryann about how she likes to alter papers, and several examples of her painted paper bits. I will probably try to part with some of these for use in creating my own mail-art, but letting them go will be difficult! Thanks Maryann!
