Marie Wintzer: Seaweed and rice, and everything nice

It arrived in the last tide of mail.  Just like a messge in a bottle.  Rice glued on seaweed paper.  What a great idea.  Too bad the scan does not do it justice.

Thank you Marie, C'est vraiment une choucroute garnieJe l'adore.

No, mine didn't have any teeth marks.  Maybe she is saving them for later!   Happy you two had a great time.

Heh heh! Good comments, and so true!! From the airport to the beach with glasses of champagne in our hands, it was night time, but still delightfully warm! No time at all for sauerkraut mail!!

Hey Dean, did Marie take a bite out of your boekie too?

the scan may not do it justice but the simple thread with the tiny Manor pic, well, a poem in itself. Lovely piece Marie.

Lucky gals to be in Oz in the summer :-)

Beautiful idea to have the seaweed with rice-writings! 'love it!

Still working on the sauerkraut idea.  I expect that Marie & Vizma are already working on it right now.  Then again, they are most likely at the beach with cocktails in their hands.

Vizma got one too... yes, beautiful rice writing!  And no sauerkraut :))
