MAIL-ART CALL: Coffee Project from Sergio Della Giustina (Italy)

Mail-art Coffee Project Call from Sergio Della Giustina - IUOMA members send your work!

February 19, 2011 - I received this interesting call for mail-art from Sergio in Italy. It seems just about everyone in the network is into either coffee or tea. Sergio Della Giustina is not in my personal network, but I suppose that's how networks grow: through friends of friends. It's no one I recognize from "Days of Beatnik Glory," but still. Here's the info:

A very nice envelope:

Sent to:

Sergio, whoever you are, thanks for sending. I'll definitely submit, and I hope we can be friends through the network.

NOTE: The red background I use is not the most gaudy shag carpeting from the '70s, as some would have it. It's a thick watercolor paper with all kinds of red chalk ground into it.

MAIL-ART PSYCHIC

The most important thing in communication is a large chunk of night. The moon is in sentimental Taurus. Avoid handmade belts. A very strange letter. Your dad always said the guy was not an athlete. But he's not your dad, and now she won't speak to me. Lucky numbers: 13, 18, 17, 30, 22, 16

Mail-art color of the day: Ethiopian coffee bean

Mail-art quote of the day:

"you'll always go to sleep

more times than you awake"

- Larry Eigner, "Letter for Duncan" - The Ambassador from Venus?

Cari Snooker la Amazing Mail-Art Dog, non sapevo che la traduzione italiana è stato richiesto per gli amici a Milwaukee.
I received a nice e-mail from Valentine Mark Herman in France. He said he has been exchanging mail-art with Sergio and it has been positive and the Coffee Project is, as we say over here, all good. Sergio is not an IUOMA member - yet. Perhaps he will consider.

hi snooker, i gather you use the coffee squares (top scan, you could copy) or you send a piece you make yourself following guidelines in the second scan. i was hoping someone knew about this. i am only the messenger. kinda liked the coffee concept.
